  • White Water Rafting, Kayaking & Canoeing- All these water activities are right at your fingertips when you stay at the Goose Pond Inn! We are located just ¼ mile from the Hudson River. From our location, you can go on a white water rafting adventure in the Hudson, Sacandaga, Moose or even the Boreas River. If you prefer a calmer more relaxing water experience, you can go kayaking or canoeing on Lake George or on one of the smaller local rivers.
     

  • Mountain Biking & Road Biking- You can bring your own bike and go on an adventure through the Adirondacks. There are plenty of trails to explore and things to see!
     

  • Hiking- All you need to bring are your hiking boots and you will be well on your way to exploring some of the most beautiful trails in the Adirondacks. You can take a scenic walk on many of the nearby scenic roadways and trails, or go on a full day trip to one of the Adirondack High Peaks.
     

  • Fishing & Hunting- You can go fishing in the lakes, ponds, rivers and streams of the Adirondack Mountains or go hunting amid thousands of acres of land. Bring your own equipment, or rent from one of the local guide shops and have them show you an unforgettable adventure.
     

  •  Winter Skiing- Adirondack skiing is closer then you think to Goose Pond Inn! We are just a 2-minute drive from Gore Mountain where once you arrive you can enjoy 11 lifts and 75 trails, and cross country skiing fans will find some of the best trails in the Northeast! If skiing is not your thing, you can also go snowshoeing, snowmobiling or even snowboarding at Gore Mountain!
     

  • Fall Foliage- If you come stay at Goose Pond Inn during the fall months, you can catch the beautiful Adirondack fall foliage. You can take a lift ride at Gore Mountain or even a nice scenic walk and go leaf peeping through the gorgeous Adirondack Mountains.
